The Attleboro Arts Museum Is Pleased To Present “Seeing Double”

Partners, duets, Noah’s animals, diptychs, mates, symmetry, reflections, twins, bicuspids, echoes, bookends, double chins … The Attleboro Arts Museum presents a national juried exhibition that will prompt you to think twice – Seeing Double.
Exhibition: July 7 – August 4, 2010
• Summer Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 10 – 4pm
• Admission is free; donations are welcome
Opening Reception: Wednesday, July 7th, 7 – 9pm, free and open to the public
• Six Juror’s Prizes of $100 each will be awarded
• Announcement of the Attleboro Arts Museum’s 2011 National Juried Exhibition Theme
• Live music and refreshments
Seeing Double Juror
Kristina Durocher, Curator of Collections at the Fitchburg Art Museum
Kristina Durocher has more than ten years of art and history museum experience. Prior to joining the Fitchburg Art Museum, she worked in the collection departments of Historic New England and The Longyear Museum. In 2001, she was hired by the Fitchburg Art Museum as Assistant Curator and has served as Curator of Collections since 2004. During her tenure, she has organized more than twenty historical and contemporary art exhibitions, including the Museum’s biennial exhibition, New England/New Talent. Ms. Durocher is an active member of the New England Museum Association. She received a B.F.A. from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and a M.A. of Art History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
