Pawtucket, RI –  Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island recently named Maranatha Lougheed, M.D., to its Medical Staff in Obstetrics/Gynecology.

A Providence, RI resident, Dr. Lougheed earned her medical degree at St. Georges University School of Medicine, St. Georges, Grenada. She completed her obstetrics/gynecology residency at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ.

Dr. Lougheed is board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology. She is certified in advanced life support in obstetrics, basic life support/advanced cardiac life support and neonatal advanced life support. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her areas of interest include prenatal and obstetrical care, adolescent gynecology, contraceptive management, laparoscopic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

            Dr. Lougheed practices at Women’s Healthcare Specialists, 174 Armistice Boulevard, Pawtucket, RI and the Southeastern Medical Center, 60 Messenger Street, Plainville, MA. She is accepting new patients and can be reached at (401) 729-3600.
