Save The Bay hosts this free event that features an outdoor Farmers Market under a big tent, right on the Bay! Workshop activities include soil testing from URI Master Gardeners (learn why you should test your soil pH and how to take a sample); local experts talking about combating invasive plants, organic pest management and composting with worms. Light refreshments; project table for kids staffed by Save The Bay educators. Vendors will sell native plants, green yard-care products, rain barrels and more.
