All Pawtucket All The Time

The Pawtucket Hall of Fame Committee today announced that the six newest members of the Pawtucket Hall of Fame will be honored at a dinner at the Lefoyer, 151 Fountain Street, Pawtucket, RI on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Retired Pawtucket Planning Director Michael Cassidy, Pawtucket Boys and Girls Club Chairman of the Board William Catelli, former Pawtucket school superintendent the late Charles E. Shea, former employee of Blackstone Valley Electric and outstanding local volunteer the late Charles Thurley, Pawtucket school teacher and outstanding local volunteer Cheryl Babiec and coach, sports announcer and former Pawtucket Boys and Girls Club “Youth of the Year” the late Christopher Gauthier were selected by the committee for the induction.

According to Ken McGill, Chair of the committee, “The Pawtucket Hall of Fame Committee looks for our cities best to induct each year.  Once again the committee has made an outstanding choice in this year’s inductees. The committee once again had many nominees to choose from and they did their homework and picked those who they feel have gone above and beyond improving the quality of life for all our residents.”
