Pawtucket, RI – Blackstone Valley Tourism Council is hosting the 
Blackstone Valley Apple Pie Bake off at the 28th Annual French Farmers Market & Heritage Day in Woonsocket on Saturday, September, 11, 2010.
The Tourism Council is currently seeking your most creative and best tasting apple pie. Remember the apple is the star ingredient. Your pie will be judged on how you best bring out the appealing qualities of your home-baked Apple pie.
Definition of an Apple Pie
An Apple Pie consists of a mixture containing apples and spices. The apple pie crust must be homemade and all apples must be local.
