Providence renovated mills now house a rich abundance of individuals, many of whom are living in the newly developed spaces. Older textile and manufacturing mill buildings have been transformed from industrial uses to mixed uses throughout the city. The owners of this mill have decided to buck the trend and redevelop for light industrial use.
“Everybody is redeveloping their mills with condos and rentals,” said the 88-year-old Duke Lossini (mill owner), chomping on a cigar that he no longer lights. “There’s no place left here for manufacturing … We’re the only guys offering that. Look around at all these mills. Nobody offers anything for small businesses.”
Based on Duke Lossini’s dream we now present to you “Phase 1″ of the redevelopment of 91 Hartford Ave. Here is a unique occasion to meet us in our newly completed work spaces, see our work and discuss your ideas with us directly during this Event.
We welcome Mayor David N. Cicilline and area dignitaries to this celebration.
