Help bring in Poetry Month one week early with the library’s very first open mike night poetry slam! Come in with your friends and perform your own memorized or written poems. This is a “first come first sign-up” event.
Host Jay Chattelle currently manages “From the RIP” productions in downtown Pawtucket at the Poets Place inside the Mixed Magic Theater. He has performed in numerous plays at Mixed Magic Theater. Mr. Chattelle also participates in numerous poetry slam venues including: Providence’s AS220, Fire House 13, The Spot on Thayer, and the Immense Lizard Lounge. This will be a PG-13 rated event.
