The Leon Mathieu Senior Center, 420 Main Street, announces its February schedule of coffee hours, which are held on Fridays from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

On Friday, February 6th: Blue Cross & Blue Shield of RI will present “Medicare Updates for 2009″. They will discuss Medicare changes as it relates to Blue Cross Medicare plans. A question and answer period will follow the presentation as well as refreshments.

On Friday, February 13th: The Center will host a Valentine’s Day Celebration with entertainment provided by our very own Drama Club. We will also be celebrating members with February birthdays.

On Friday, February 20th: The Center is hosting a FREE Mardi Gras Mask Making craft session. This craft session is sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care. Come and celebrate Mardi Gras with us! Refreshments will be provided after the session.

On Friday, February 27th: The URI College of Pharmacy will present “Living with Angina”. Come and learn about the signs, symptoms, and treatment options for this disorder. A question and answer period will follow as well as refreshments.
