  The City of Pawtucket , Division of Senior Services at the Leon Mathieu Senior Center , 420 Main Street, Pawtucket , RI .  First floor Activity Room.

  The Leon Mathieu Senior Center , 420 Main Street , announces its December schedule of coffee hours, which are held on Fridays from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. These events are open to everyone 55 and older. Light refreshments are served following the presentations.

On Friday, February 5^th: The Center is hosting Vyju Gopalan, a Blackstone Health nutritionist, who will present “The Changing Taste of Seniors”. Come learn about age-related changes that affect the sense of taste. 

On Friday, February 12^th: The URI College of Pharmacy Outreach Program will present “Healthy Heart”. Did you know that February is American Heart Month? Come and learn ways to keep your ticker in tip top shape and prevent heart disease! 

On Friday, February 19^th: The Center will be hosting their annual Valentine’s Day Party! February birthdays will also be celebrated during the party. There will be entertainment as well as refreshments. Please sign-up at the 1^st floor reception desk at the Center by Wednesday, February 17, 2010 

On Friday, February 26^th: Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI will be at the Center to present “Medicare Updates for 2010. Learn about 2010 changes to the Blue Chip for Medicare plans.
