FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ROTH CONVERSIONS

The Riverside Branch Library will present a workshop on Financial Planning
& Roth Conversions on Thursday, February 11th from 6:30 – 8:00pm.

The recent turbulence in the stock market, along with ever changing rules
around financial planning, has left many people wondering how they will be
able to retire.  This workshop will give you the opportunity to discuss
financial planning and receive new information that illustrates the need
to retest assumptions in long term financial plans.

Bill Horn, financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in
Providence, will be the presenter.  He will also discuss the details of
the recent changes in the law surrounding IRA conversions from traditional
to Roth, and the impact it could have on long term planning. This workshop
will demonstrate how a Roth IRA conversion can make a real difference to a
retirement savings strategy.  Bring your questions!
