The Pawtucket Board of Canvassers today announced that during this election year members will make themselves available to conduct voter registration drives at schools, businesses, community meetings or events. Currently those eligible to vote in Pawtucket stands at 37,500 the board would like to see that number raised to 39,000 or more before the November 2, 2010 election.
On November 2nd there will be races for Governor, Lt. Governor, State Treasurer, Attorney General, State Representative, State Senate, Mayor, Council and School Committee. In addition, voters will also decide a number of referendum questions that will shape the direction of our city
