Red Ribbon Day in Pawtucket
Red Ribbon Rally at City Hall
Pawtucket Policy Prevention Board Event: The Pawtucket Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force in conjunction with the Pawtucket School Department will be holding a Red Ribbon Rally at City Hall in the Council Chambers on Friday October 30th between 10:30 & 11:30am. This annual event recognizes Pawtucket students’ efforts to promote drug abuse prevention by showcasing their artistic creations depicting drug free lifestyles. This year’s theme is focused on the dangers of underage drinking. “Underage Drinking—Not a Minor Problem!” All Pawtucket schools will be involved (grades 1 through 12) and representatives from each school will be bussed to city hall for the ceremony. This is a great opportunity to be at a positive event, and a great photo op too! For further info, call Diane Dufresne at 616-2266
