Feehan Senior Selected as Soprano for MENC’s All-Eastern Honors Ensemble
Bishop Feehan High School senior Bethany Conway of Cumberland, RI was selected for chorus soprano by MENC (Music Educators National Conference) and will perform at their 2009 All-Eastern Music Conference to be held March 12-15 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence. Conway went through 3 rounds of judging and auditions earning an almost perfect score by the S.E. Massachusetts Music Educators Association. After receiving an All-State recommendation, she received another such score at the All-State level. Conway is one of only 7 selected from Massachusetts for the MENC chorus. She is a member of Feehan’s Girls Glee Club, Select and Liturgical Choirs, Student Council and is also the newly elected President of Feehan’s Tri-M Music Honor Society.
