Hadad Re-Elected as SIBL’s President

            SWANSEA – David Hadad was recently elected to a second one-year term as President of the Swansea Independent Baseball League during the league’s annual elections for 11 officers.

          Hadad, initially elected last year, will serve a second term extending from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31, 2010. He will be joined in the league’s administration by four incumbent officers and six newly elected officers.

          Earning re-election this year were 1st Vice President Michael Cooper, 3rd Vice President James Ramos, Umpire-in-Chief Curtis Maderios and Facilities Director Todd Costa. New officers include 2nd Vice President Andrew Fyfe, Secretary Kathy Souza, Treasurer Blake Campos, Purchasing Agent Michael Durand, Safety Officer Marty Ladeira and Public Relations Director Jonathan Cooper.

          “We are very excited to welcome six new officers in the league’s administration this year and to build on the successes we enjoyed during the 2009 season,” said Hadad, who is SIBL’s 13th President. “We are looking forward to another great season in 2010.”
