EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (July 28, 2009) – Evergreen House Health Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, invites the community and the media to enjoy its annual free summer concert series from July 31 through Sept. 2.
The series will feature a variety of musical styles, and refreshments will be served each night. The concerts will be held outside if the weather permits, and inside if it rains.
The schedule includes:
- Friday, July 31, from 2 – 3 p.m. – Providence Civic Orchestra of Senior Citizens
- Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 6 – 7 p.m. – The Meadow-Larks Swing Band
- Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 6 – 7 p.m. – An Elvis tribute show with Jeff Jarvis
- Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 6 – 7 p.m. – Todd Hargraves with a “crooner” performance
- Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 6 – 7 p.m. – The Meadow-Larks Dixieland Band
- Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 6 – 7 p.m. – Country and patriotic songs with Rick Ashman
