Providence, RI- Citizens Bank recently awarded $5,000 to the Bristol Fourth of July Committee for the Annual Fourth of July Celebration. Established in 1785, the parade is the oldest continuous celebration of its kind in the United States. Community activities include fireworks and the historic parade which occurs in downtown Bristol on July 4 at 10:30 am.
