MAYOR DOYLE PROUDLY ANNOUNCES ARRESTS IN
OAKHILL NEIGHBORHOOD BREAK-INS
Pawtucket Mayor James E. Doyle proudly announces two suspects were recently apprehended and charged with breaking and entering several homes in the Oak Hill section of Pawtucket . Mayor Doyle stated, “I am very proud of the Police Department for the timely and professional manner in which they solved these breaking and entering cases.” Over the past few weeks the Oak Hill section of Pawtucket has been riddled with a number of home break-ins. Police addressed the problem by increasing patrols in the neighborhood and alerting area residents to be more vigil and report anything suspicious to the police.
Pawtucket Police Chief George Kelley warns residents to be extra cautious during the warmer weather. The Chief stated, “During the hot summer months people are more inclined to leave windows and doors open. Unfortunately, this also makes it easier for would-be thieves.” Residents should be careful not to leave windows and doors open, especially if they are in the backyard or away from the house.

What about the rest of the city? we’ve been having break in after break in up in Fairlawn and nothing has happened. Break-ins happen in an affluent section and Doyle trips over himself getting the crime solved. Maybe if it affected his daily commute to Twin River he’d do something about it.
