Tolman High School Announces 2^nd Annual Carnival

All Tolman affiliates and others are invited to participate in this fun-filled event. 

Pawtucket, RI – May 5, 2009 – The Tolman High School Student Council is pleased to announce the Second Annual Spring Carnival. The purposes of this carnival is to help raise awareness of all programs held at Tolman High School, raise school spirit, and to help incoming freshmen adjust to the Tiger Pride environment.  

A spirit week will be held with different themes for all of the days of the week building up to the carnival weekend. These themes will ignite the spirit of all the students and will encourage them to become involved in the carnival. 

The overall theme of the carnival is Battle of the Classes, a friendly competition between the different grades. Representatives will be selected from each grade to compete in five events. At the end of the events, the class with the most points will be the winners. 

The carnival will provide many fun activities. Several booths will be setup by each individual sport and club in the school for your viewing pleasures. Entertainment performances will be held for the same purpose as well. A dunk tank will be provided by the student council for an extra boost of fun. Concession stands will be available for the convenience of all the attendees. A rock climbing wall will be present also. This does not cover all of the fun since many more activities will be offered. 

The Second Annual Spring Carnival will be held at the Tolman High School parking lot on May 30^th. The rain date is Sunday, May 31^st. The carnival will be running from noon to 4pm. There will be numerous events taking place will occur throughout the day.

About Student Council

The Tolman Student Council is a group made up of dedicated students, whose sole purpose is to represent as well as unify the student body in the school. They plan events such as the Annual Spring Carnival and the Tolman Spirit weeks. Thanks in part to this organization; Tolman High School Students are able to express their school pride.
