Annual Fall Concert Series
This Fall Concert Series features Fusionworks presenting three exciting premieres and one old audience favorite. Artistic Director, Deb Meunier’s primal/techno Susurrus looks at the intersection between our technology and our tribal natures as humans. Also presented will be two other premieres by Rhode Island choreographers Mark Harootian and Karen Swiatocha along with the wild and wacky dance, Avoidance, which was last seen in 2003.
Fusionworks Dance Company offers the perfect experience for both the dance aficionado, who attends several performances each year, and the novice who has not yet seen live dance. Do you like to draw your own conclusions or would you rather have a peek into the process? No matter which kind of person you are Fusionworks offers the perfect performance experience for you.
On Saturday night only, join Fusionworks for the extremely popular Unwrapped concert for the unabashedly curious. Deb Meunier will give you a behind-the-scenes peek at the entire concert process. Through introductions to each of the dances she explains the choreography, costumes, music and even technical information. If you would like to watch the dances and draw your own conclusions then Fusionworks’ traditional concert on Friday night is a perfect fit for you.
Join this sassy, high-energy troupe known for their ability to consistently fascinate audiences with variety, talent and gutsy physicality. Depart from the everyday humdrum, and spend time with Fusionworks Dance Company.
